Made with Love
Flavia Weedn was a talented illustrator and the author of many books, but above all, she was a wonderful human being. At Flavia Shop, we have a curated selection of imagery that she created and loved.
Our cards are as eccentric as Flavia herself, made out of archival cotton paper and with the same love that Flavia put into all that she accomplished.
Here she is enjoying time with her grandson Miguel Angel Weedn in her Santa Barbara studio in the Old El Paseo. Circa 2008.
Flavia Weedn
Flavia Weedn a commencé à vendre des œuvres d'art dans les rues de Californie en 1959. Son mari, Jack Weedn, a peu après organisé une entreprise artistique familiale qui fonctionne toujours après 62 ans maintenant basée à Lugano, en Suisse.
L'entreprise appartient à la Flavia Design Foundation à but non lucratif de Barcelone, en Espagne. Sa mission est de soutenir l'éducation artistique à travers le monde.
Les enfants et petits-enfants Weedn perpétuent la tradition d'aujourd'hui en fabriquant des produits artisanaux et écologiques dans un environnement familial en petits lots.
Le directeur général est Miguel Angel Weedn.
La vie est courte et l'art dure éternellement.
